I am passionate about tropical fruits; they are delicious and abundant. We traveled for years fruit hunting and got to know the best fruits from South-East Asia and tropical America. I love so many of them, but my favorite three are Durian, Cempedak, and Wani. We planted a lot of these and so much more. I am very excited to taste the only jungle Durian I haven’t tasted yet: Durio dulcis, which is red outside. We have three growing trees planted in our fruit forest, and I look forward to experiencing it in my own homestead.

There are so many fruits I love... When a fruit is good quality, grown with care and handled well it's amazing and unbelievably satisfying. My favorites from our farm now are Rollinia and Pineapple. My overall favorite is Durian, it's exciting to see our trees grow and in a few short years we will enjoy the king of fruits from our own farm too.
I find the most versatile tropical fruits are Banana, Papaya and Mango. I love all three as they are great staple fruits and amazing basic ingredients in various smoothies, salads, wraps, and more. I use these three the most in my Fast Fruit Recipes book; their flavor and texture can be enjoyed in many ways.
