Ideal Property Size

The ideal land size we recommend is 0.8 hectares (approximately 2 acres) for a family to achieve self-sufficient fruit homesteading. The orchard can be 0.5 hectares (about 1.2 acres) to provide abundant fruit year-round. The remaining 0.3 hectares (about 0.7 acres) is suitable for a family house, outdoor leisure area, kitchen garden, and greenhouse.
This size is large enough to ensure a variety of harvests, with a surplus in good seasons. It also requires just the right amount of maintenance to support a natural lifestyle while leaving free time to enjoy family and follow your passion.
A larger property increases maintenance demands, raises costs, and complicates management. While a huge property may sound appealing, a manageable size allows for better care of the given area, higher yields per area, and greater lifestyle flexibility.
We envision Fruit Village as a community where all residents are friends, with the ability to walk to a friend’s house or enjoy a morning jog together.
